Thankyou from a DU Veteran this Veteran's day

Thank-you to all of those of you who initiated appreciation threads here on DU.

I speak only for myself, in this thread. It would be presumptious of me to intimate that I speak on behalf of all my fellow members who have served in the Army/Navy/Marine Corps/Air Force and Coast Guard over the years.

We all share a common experience in having put on the uniform, and we've all had different experiences.

We've all served at different times, and under different circumstances.

The only thing we all have in common is this meeting site and your appreciation threads.

You have no idea what that mean to me personally, and I'm guessing...my brothers and sisters who have worn the uniform.

Again...
