1. Federal Employees health care plans (Blue Cross) do not cover abortions except:

Blue Cross Federal is one of the most popular plans under the government health care that Congress and Federal employees have. It specifically does not cover abortions except in the case of endangerment to life of mother or in cases of rape and incest. I don't know about any of the other insurance plans, but I would assume they are all the same with limited abortion coverage.

I used to work at BCBS here in Kansas City and our local diocese had BCBS insurance. Now, abortions aren't covered under THEIR plan specifically, they can choose what benefits to offer their employees, but I think it's ironic that they support and "pay for" abortions (by paying a company who pays for them)
