2. I thought a few facts had been established, like Hasan's being
investigated by the Pentagon, not to mention his talk on how the war was a war on Islam. Sounds like a potential glaring problem to me.

4. Cynically ignore that the cleric was part of the same int'l intel op that was running 9/11 hijackers
Edited on Wed Nov-11-09 04:24 PM by leveymg
From listening to their hysterical, naive statements to the press, neither of them knows sh-t about counter-terrorism, and both of them cynically ignore important facts. Like, the fact that the cleric who communicated with Hasan was part of the same international intelligence-gathering operation that was running the 9/11 hijackers inside the US.

King and Lieberman seem to be blowing a protective smoke screen.

Those two are the most bigoted, anti-Muslim grandstanders in Congress. Latter day McCarthyites.

9. Lieberman is head of the Homeland Security committee -- why didn't he do anything about it?
Oh, wait, that's right. Holy Joe only has hindsight and can only tell what should have been done after the fact. In other words, his eyesight is in the same place he's speaks from.

10. they're right-- much as I hate to say it. there's plenty of evidence
that he shouldn't have been in the army and he sure as shit shouldn't have been treating soldiers.

11. Lieberman is right on this one...
This guy really should not have been allowed to stay in the Army. If they let him stay, he should have been closely monitored at all times.

I can only imagine what those who had friends or family whom were injured or killed by Hasan are thinking about now.

Hasan sent all the signals of being a wanna-be jihadi, and that should have been dealt with long ago.

17. While I resent the concept of lectures on prevention of terrorism...
by someone (King) who helped to fund terrorism in the UK, I have to admit that these two nutters could be right on this issue. Hasan should not have continued this long in the army - not because he was Muslim, but because he was unstable.
