2. According to that site

there are less than 100 members of Al Qaida left.

According to news releases in the UK, Al Qaida didn't really exist when went to war against them. It was a couple of men, and they had to rent mercenaries as extras for the background when they filmed their videos. The CIA manufactured the idea of them as an organization so that they could have a controllable boogieman to use in the media to shove political goals down the throats of the people of the US. :grr:

The more we learn, the more it is clear that we should not have been in Afghanistan at all to begin with.

Rethinking this deployment is a start, but that is not nearly enough. We need to get the hell out of there entirely. :(
