2. Is there anything new in what these people are doing?

I am getting rather sick of the "fresh outrage" on the part of some DU'er or other at the latest activities of the Westboro gang.

"Can you beLIEVE they're picketing the funeral of (insert dead celebrity or dead soldier or person who died in recent horrible high-profile incident here)?"

"Can you beLIEVE they said God caused (insert terrible event here) to happen?"

"Can you beLIEVE they are HAPPY about it and praying for more such events?"

"Can you beLIEVE they say the event happened because God hates gays and this country isn't behaving as it should by putting them all to death?"

The answers? Yes, Yes, Yes and YES!!!!!!! That's what they ARE!! That's what they DO!! There's nothing NEW about it!! So why the fresh outrage each and every time? Can it be that not everyone here has heard of these losers yet, and does not know there is no level to which they will not stoop?

These people could do with a whole lot less outrage and a whole lot more being ignored by those who are not in their immediate vicinity, and counteracted by those who are and can oppose and drown out their nonsense in a loving way that helps the dead receive their proper tribute.

They are publicity whores. There is NOTHING they won't do.

Time to turn our backs on them as members of decent society and turn our attention to others.
