As a former Methodist, I can tell you that some are quite conservative.

8. Not all methodists are created equal

After I was ostracized from my church youth group for suggesting (in jest) that we change our slogan to "We put the 'meth' in methodist", I realized that the United Methodist Church was really one of the more liberal and progressive denominations. Its the non-united methodists that are the real conservative ones, and still uphold the calvinist beliefs.

unfortunately there was`t enough of us. my church is rather liberal for the hometown of ronnie raygun.
