If Republicans have accomplished nothing else they have at least distracted the nation
The wars. Domestic surveillance. Torture. Billions in crisp hundred dollar bills gone missing in Iraq, and the Department of Homeland Security, under the scrutiny of Joe Lieberman, to rule them all.

All of these things swept to the side as the Republicans continue to delay while holding the only spotlight in town on insurance reform.
