WhatDrivesEdward.com contest annoying...
I saw the commmercial and thought I'd take a look but it turns out that there's a lot of jumping through hoops.

1. I am not understanding this...

Am I deficient? I'm just saying...

Should I go to some website based on the information you have provided? Down that road, I think, lies madness, or at least something possibly unpleasant.

Perhaps you could expand just a bit on the information you are keeping a secret from us. Just a little. A hint, perhaps. A morsel we can taste.

2. Volvo is running these ads saying you can win a new car on TV.
It is apparently tied into some movie. They make you do a lot of stupid things at the site to win the car.

3. Ah. I see. OK, well, knock yourself out.

They MAKE you do stupid things? Really. You are coerced? Does some thug come and threaten you if you don't want to do stupid things?

How do you feel about the health care bill? What about that abortion business?

Go play your game. If you win, enjoy your drive. But...don't forget: You'll owe income taxes on that $40,000 vehicle if you win. Do you have that much cash on hand? The IRS is impatient, you know. Winning a car generally means that you have to sell it to pay those taxes.

Isn't there something more interesting and less expensive to do?

4. Lighten up Francis...OMG!
If you can read at all, I said I was NOT playing the game because it WAS stupid.

If you read DU at all you should already know where I stand on a variety of issues.

Grow up.
