1. No.
I don't have much time for the arguments of the "I don't support the death penalty, except in this *one* case" crowd.

16. NO DP, ever. You can't take it back if you're wrong. However, that doesn't mean they should ...
... enjoy some of the rights they are permitted. You forfeited most of your rights when you took someone's life. So, I'm not really concerned about how happy you are with your cell, the food, your work schedule, your comforts. I am, however, concerned about your safety. I don't believe in allowing another inmate to do to your what the state is forbidden.

If I did, I would say yes.

But I think life in prison with no parole is good enough for anyone.

a super max prison and he is locked down 23 out of 24 hours, that would be an appropriate sentence for his crime.

31. Exactly... I don't get how this is better than death. I can't imagine sitting in a jail cell
for the rest of my life.

It would be pure hell.

Which is what most of these people deserve. And it would give an opportunity for the VERY VERY VERY rare innocents to be proven innocent so they could get out.

How is death a more severe punishment than life in a cell? I don't get it.

make it so damned expensive to carry out. Which is what you want in the first place.

30. Well, if he should, so should the bastard who sold him the weapon.
I know the gun shop where the murder weapon was purchased, and I know the owner's claims of the gun being "stolen" are complete bullshit. The building is a goddamn fortress. Not going to say it would be impossible to break into the place, but you would literally have to drive through a wall to do so, and that would attract far too much attention.

Motherfucker is lying. He sold that weapon for cash under the table, because Mohammed could never have passed the background check.

I don't believe gun manufacturers are responsible for gun crimes. But gun sellers who knowingly sell to those not legally eligible? You bet your ass they should get the same sentence the shooter got.

The State should not make the business of killing people its business.

Capital punishment, IMO, is archaic and should never be sanctioned.

Including in this case.

A single crime of passion murder is one thing, holding an entire region hostage with fear is another. I'm not a religious guy, but if there is a hell, I hope its hot enough for him.
