Now, I can't remember the last time I saw a DU thread come up on a Google search.

Google. Depends on the title of the post and the keywords used to search for it. I've found some of my posts on Google less than five minutes after posting, if I use the actual title.

Of course, if you search for the word "Fuck," you'll get millions of hits, so a DU post won't stand out.

For example, Google The Sex Tape - A Morality Tale. No quotes. The first hit is the DU post with that title, posted just a few minutes ago.

If you search just A Morality Tale, it's the first listing on the second results page. Pretty common words, so it's clear that Google is not discriminating against DU. On the contrary, Google spiders DU almost constantly.

I would not use it in the title line of an OP, and don't favor it in the title line of an OP, but in the body of the thread, it doesn't trouble me. As with all curse words, overuse is the biggest problem. Anyone who has to use too many at one time, or too much of the time, appears out of control and adolescent. Sometimes I wonder if our worst cursers don't have a condition that compels it.
