3. Hope that wasn't your letter!
You could point out that since Obama's stimulus bill passed there has been a big improvment in the job loss numbers but these guys are not going to listen to anything.

I never could figure out what it is about Cincinnati being such a conservative/Republican stronghold. It has a substantial black community and I'm sure there must be some union shops in the area, but it always goes way right in the vote. I'm from St. Louis originally, which is quite racist, but at least the city proper has always been pretty liberal. I went to U. of Cincinnati for a short time in 1965-6 and loved those hills, mt. Adams (?) etc. At the time there was still quite a poor area along vine st. towards downtown but I think they've demolished most of that by now?

7. Hamilton County the city went for Obama by a large margin, the dittoheads are mostly low info whites
in the surrounding exurbs.

Without Obama on ticket freshman Dem Steve Driehaus is in trouble unless black turnout is high in 10

4. Net change in jobs month to month...
The data means that there was a net reduction of jobs in January, 2008 of 72,000 jobs, a decline of 681,000 in December and a decline of 741,000 in January of 2009.

You want the numbers to be positive... negative = no fucking good.

5. It goes like this: These are numbers of jobs lost or gained per month
Jan 2009 741,000 lost, Feb 2009 681,000 lost, Mar 2009 652,000 lost. As you can see the job loss started for Bush's last year peaked in Jan 2009 and has been less as the stimulus takes effect.
