I wish the term "man-caused disaster" would not be used to describe terrorist acts.
"Man-caused disaster" more correctly applies to catastrophes like the New Orleans flood where because of poor engineering and maintenance by the Army Corps of Engineers, the levees there failed and flooded 80% of that city.
This seems like semantic nitpicking, but there's a reason. Call terrorist acts what they are--terrorist acts--not "man-caused disasters."
It's a plea for more precise language, and that never hurts. I would also point out that man-caused disasters is awkward. It should be, I think, man-made disaster vs terrorist act
