Two plus sized cats looking for new home
Big love: plus-sized cat pair seeks home

Ginger, a 10-year-old male orange tabby, and Mocha, a 10-year-old female calico, have spent the majority of their time snuggling together after their former guardian who could no longer care for them surrendered the duo to the Marin Humane Society.

These capacious cats with hearts to match require an extra-special adopter who will keep them on a restricted diet and monitor Mocha who is in the early stages of chronic renal failure (CRF).*

6. I hope they find kind people to take them. This is what happens when cats are overfed... renal failu
failure. They may look cute and lumpy and awww but it kills them. Just like fat dogs. Animals should not be overfed.

14. my cat isn't fat.
he's just big boned! i am pondering how i can get basil to lose weight. his sister is thin. i know it's a lot of muscle too, but he needs to be chased or something.
kittens are great exercise.

17. Of ALL my cats who died from Renal Failure was not because they were fat, but
because of high protein cat food. At least that's what the Vet told us when they started showing signs of RF. I bought cat food that had a lower protein level than most store bought foods.

8. I'm in the market for a new mascot, but I just want ONE, and a female at that,
and SHORTHAIRED ONLY, lol. I cough a lot less when I don't have longhaired cats around 24/7.

12. Wish I could, but we already have four.
They're all strays that have adopted us. We basically let them run our lives - it's pretty ridiculous. I keep telling my husband we need hire a "Super Nanny" for kitties!

20. friends had a cat so fat
it couldn't keep it's booty clean, and so they didn't like being around it (it smelled ) I spent one whole long night researching "fat cats with shit ass" and learned that fat cats feel bad about themselves, so they eat more. Plus, they need love and if they are sneaking dog food, they are dehydrating themselves, even more. This helped the cat.
