Where Men Find Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman.

Just to put Tillman in a DU perspective, he was trying to arrange a tête-à-tête with Prof. Noam Chomsky for after his muster out of the US Army. Tillman, like the sycophantic Bu$h memo said, was the "real deal." But not the real deal in Bu$h and Rovian terms.

And not to put too sharp a point on it, but both Tillman brothers (Pat and Kevin) were atheists.

Read the book.

1. Thanks, I'm gonna make it a point to read that book.
Really enjoyed his book, Into the Wild.

Didn't know the Noam Chomsky connection.

:wow:

2. I saw the author on The Daily Show
and even Jon Stewart was struck dumb by the unspeakably sad and horrifying story. I am actually not sure if I could read the book without experiencing some kind of Kafka/Orwell/Lynch Psycho Freakout.

3. I'm reading it right now
I also watched the hearings the Tillman family appeared at, attempting to get some straight answers out of Congress re: what really happened to their son and brother.
