The Six Senators Who Will Decide the Fate of Health Care Reform
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid faces a number of obstacles to passing health care reform but his main task is to keep his caucus united for not one, but two, supermajority votes, just to get the reform bill an up or down on the Senate floor. Failure to get 60 votes to push past either of those two procedural chokepoints could derail the reform bill. Here are the six key holdouts Reid must wrangle to reach the magic threshold.

1. Before clicking the link, I could venture a guess three of them.
Ben Nelson of Nebraska
Bill Nelson of Florida
Joe Lieberman of Connecticut

5. They think Baucus is secure?
We already know about Lieberman. I am surprised it is even up for discussion.

8. I guess they do believe he is a secure vote
Edited on Mon Nov-09-09 07:29 PM by DearAbby
no mention of him in the article. I had thought Bayh was secure to at least vote with the party on procedural votes. He said he would not prevent bill coming to the floor for debate, not sure about cloture

10. send your healthcare bill to these senators
camp outside their door and give them your health horror stories. Write to your local paper. Phone into local radio.

11.  Where is the honor?
Our senators and reps are problems, they don't care about us,only our vote, they are(all of them) owned by the robber barons, and we refuse to do anything about their dishonesty. Those greedy parasites are a plague on this country and we the people continue to send them back to Washington, instead of sing sing. All of the congresscritters that vote against health care reform are heartless, and My God know each and every one of you.Sleep well tonight on your bed of ill gotten money.
