Levi Johnston says he'll sue for joint custody

Relations between Levi Johnston and Sarah Palin's family just got colder. Johnston, 19, says he's suing for joint custody of his 10-month-old son, Tripp, with former fiancee Bristol because her family is restricting his access to the baby.

"It's not working. I'm done" he told the Insider. "It's going to have to go to court. They just finally pushed me over the edge."

Busy year for the Alaskan hunk: Engaged to Bristol a year ago, broke up in March, began an ongoing feud with the former governor, posing for Playgirl, and now threatening to sue at the end of the month. This isn't the first time: In April, he told Tyra Banks he was considering a lawsuit because the Palins didn't let him to take the baby out of the house.

Johnston's attorney did not return calls for comment.

As much as I dislike the Wasilla hillbillies I am fair enough to realize that Levi didn't ask to be photographed. I'm sure he was asked. And I'm sure there's some kind of contract in there too. And a payment or two.

He is the father of her first grandchild who was born out of wedlock.

He is a good ol' boy that got dragged in to play a part. Now he is waaaaay off script.

I like Levi. He may be a grifter, but he isn't nearly as bad a grifter as Palin.
