Go form a third party please..... Let the adults who think with their minds and not with emotion run the government.

13. More like health insurance health care. This will help them enormously
while ensuring captive consumers on who they can raise rates yearly.

The insurance companies are having orgasms.

16. "Desire" to have health insurance is something serious so spear me the mockery.
Let me rephrase it for you as I see you need some help understanding.

Americans are willing to prostitute themselves because of how necessary health insurance is. Healthcare is so important that we are ok to allow churches to promote measures against choice for women. What would this mean in the future? That congress would not stop insurance companies if they denie coverage to homosexuals because homosexuality could be make to appear as a pre-existing condition. Are you ok with paving the way for more religious intrusion now coming from the health debate?

8. Yeah, I don't need health insurance
when my COBRA expires and I can't buy it on the open market because of multiple pre-existing conditions like asthma and allergies.

I'll just bumble along with no insurance and when I end up in the ER because I don't have access to drugs and regular medical care that keeps it all in check, I'll just declare bankruptcy or maybe I'll get lucky and die.

11. Yep. Me and my pre-existing conditions don't need to have health care.
As soon as I lose my job..there goes the health care. But really, its only my health and well being, why should that matter? Principles are at stake here!

14. Fact is, I personally support Medicare for all
but realistically, I know it will never pass. We will never get such a radical overhaul, no matter how needed, through Congress in one fell swoop.

Think how much opposition Medicare faced or how limited in scope Social Security was when they were first passed. Now those programs are sacrosanct. I thought it was ironic than so many in the GOP were arguing not to pass reform because it would jeopardize Medicare.

Fact is, this people will help many, many more than it will hurt. It gives us a foundation upon which to build and will help millions like us while we work on it. We can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

17. Not ONE Word in this Bill Is Dedicated to Saving People
It's all about the insurance companies and their profits, Big Pharma and their profits, Big Crisis Care and their profits.

Not one word about people, sick people, getting care. Babies getting wellness care. Pregnant women getting whatever they need for a positive outcome. NOT ONE F****ING WORD!

Lots of words about people who don't get stuff, though.
