Why was the Stupak ammendment even voted on? Pelosi said she needed to remove
the Kucinich amendment from voting, because if she let it come to a vote, right wing amendments would also be presented. Remember the Kucincich amendment passed in committee with a 2/3 majority. So the rational for state single payer removal, was to preserve us from right wing amendments.

3. Are we really supposed to buy that "bipartisan" shit with just one Puke voting for it?
Sorry, that just doesn't fly. One Puke may technically make it bipartisan, but when the overwhelming majority of Pukes votes against it, it's not bipartisan. Not by a long shot.

Now, if the Dems had wanted Puke votes they should have included a provision on starting a war with Iran. Now that would get some Puke votes! They do love them some death and destruction, and we all know that the cost of war isn't part of the budget. :eyes:

4. due to the vote being danged close
and most likely a number of blue dogs(who voted for) would have voted against if she didn't allow it to be heard.

I'm still hoping it will be removed in conference obviously

8. I don't follow your logic.
Can't we just wish these bills through Congress with the power of positive thinking?
