QUESTION: Is there any talk in the SENATE of a 'stupak-type' amendment?
I have been thinking about this a little.

I think Stupak Amend is awful, and I don't think it is going to make it to the final bill.

My theory is that in conference, there will be arguments made that it is "redundant" as the issue is already covered by the Hyde Amendment

(I understand that Stupak goes further than the Hyde Amendment, so I am not looking for information on that.)

I am talking about strategy and what arguments might be made once the House and Senate Bill are to be reconciled)

It seem like it will be easier to get rid of if there is nothing like it in the Senate bill.

So does anybody know if something like Stupak is in the work in the Senate?

If so it would be good to make call to try to derail it.
