He is a side show, at best. I often agree with him. I would never seriously support him if I could vote for him. Actually, he lost me way back we he went on a date with that nut from Texas, Ron Paul.

But geeze .... so much energy expended on him.

Why?

He voted late to make a point with which to grandstand, yet not be the one who killed the bill. Big deal. A stunt that was as effective as a fart in a windstorm.

I think the DLC (blue dog) supporters are making most of the noise about Kucinch to take the heat off their side bolting from the rest of the Democrats in the vote.

A diversionary ploy if I ever saw one.

If Kucinich had voted for it they would have found someone else to bitch about.

I'm glad he voted against it.

I find the fact that he voted when and as he did was clear evidence it was a meaningless, calculated stunt.

The two concepts are not mutually exclusive.

5. I think the 'grandstanding' is more than just a political stunt

It's his way of highlighting his (usually) minority stance. I often agree with him too. In the present makeup in Congress, his stances are often what we voted for, with the majority of our party racing to compromise our demands away. I really don't know how the uncompromising stances he takes can get any notice among all of the 'pragmatists' who whittle their promises down to nothing and often end up hurting the very causes they claimed to be advocating for. His 'grandstanding' is usually, actually the uncompromising stand on issues that many here voted for their legislators to represent and put into action or law. I wish more legislators would take his cue.

They will persist in their belief system no matter what you do, because they can't think past black and white and the HATE the man. These posts are so damn similar. Wait until some time goes by . He is one of the few who has learned from past mistakes. Look at All of the politicins who have their hands in the medical corporations pockets and then tell anyone in their right mind we should trust any of this utter crap .

How the hell do they think they are going to control these massive ins companies who have had a death grip on people for decades? What and how and who will be the watch dogs to keep them in line ? Factor that into the cost because they will need another mass of employees to keep track of all the ins companies so subtract that from the so called savings over 10 fucking years.

They just pull numbers out of their assess and sell them like candy . By that time Obama will not be the president , funny how they all always project past their term limits and people buy into this shit.
