Xochicalco, please make the Dec 21, 2012 idiots shut up already!
Sorry, but all these idiotas are driving me bonkers. Didn't they get their jollies trying to scare the hell out of us with Y2K? Didn't Bush et alia play color coded scare the hell out of us? I know those guys made bucks and got rich off that. Today's morons bring us yet another death date: the end of the Mayan calendar.

First off, where are the Mayans some query? Newsflash! They are in Guatemala and Yucatan and Belize. Open your freaking eyes. Just that their lying leaders got sacrificed because the masses that got sacrificed got tired of nothing but drought and reversed the process. Note to downtrodden masses: Make sure you keep some alive next time to find out what the culture they hid from you was all about.

So why don't these blabbermouth scare shows go to Xochicalco, Mexico for the 2012 debacle? It spoils the fun. Just look at this shit near Mexico City where an eye staggering four civilizations met, including the Mayan:

and this place where four civilizations have wall "spots" reserved.

And around it little stone markers, not in picture. Are you ready Mayans? Time to set your calendar again with your chords! Nifty how you get your eclipses, etc. set.
Sorry guys from Xochicalco. You need to give up the secret. I know you are not ready to reveal your greatness, but the world is going crazy now.

Maybe a shaft of light will fix them:

3. Under no circumstances would I discourage end-of-the-world cultists and dimwits . . .
Why give up the potential entertainment?

4. Lester Holt is treating Richard Hoagland like some kind of expert right now
on a History Channel show.

Richard Hoagland is so much of a conspiracy theorist, he makes Orly Taitz seem sane.

5. It's all garbarge of course but...
I will admit that I have a t-shirt with the Aztec Sunstone covered by the words, "2012: Another Y2K Bug" on it. I got it from http://wapsisquare.com - Wapsi Square, which is one of my favorite online comics. It started off as a normal "bunch of friends" type comic into a comic whose overreaching arc concerns the main character being a glyph reader who has to restart, "The Calendar Machine." The artist/writer is pretty smart and is creating his own mythology, combining several cultures' mythologies into his version of Atlantis and is juggling several converging storylines. It sometimes takes a while for things to make sense, but eventually they do as things unfold more and more.

7. I find it amazing that these nit wits are trying to restore old cold war era bomb
shelters to protect themselves and their families from the horrors of 2012. They haven't a clue how the calender ending will bring about the end or what that ending will be. There are a few natural happenings that make under ground crap useless, think floods or volcano's for example, being under ground will not be a good way to save ones self. Whats even crazier is they believe they will survive and rebuild civilization. Yeah right, a world populated by Palin followers, that is more frightening then the end of the calender.

8. Thank you! I get so anoyed when people call the Maya extinct.
They are right freakin over there! Look at em! They look like the pictures! They're speaking one of several forms of Mayan for god's sake!

Tell you what, go to Felipe Carrillo Puerto or Valladolid in the Yucatan and tell everyone the Maya are extinct. If you're lucky they'll laugh. If you cop an attitude, I'll help you look for your teeth.

Later.
