Does anyone know what the status of part time employees is in this bill?
I work part time, and it would be good if I was covered through my employer. IF I keep my job. My fear is that if employers will find ways to eliminate part timers if they are required to cover them on a health plan. So I am conflicted on this.

1. You'll be eligible for the public option
and a subsidy.

3. So I would get it through the public option
and not through my employer?

6. You could choose that, or a private plan
If your employer isn't required to cover you, then you go to the exchange which includes the public option. And you get a subsidy.

7. The House bill is at 150% of poverty
Which is why it's important to fight FOR that bill and quit referring to the crappy senate bill.

8. The Senate bill is what we'll be getting.
I called it weeks ago. It's going to look more like Baucus' than anything else. Get used to it.

9. If the left keeps trashing the House bill it is
"Speaking truth to power" and all.

If you'd learn how to advocate FOR what you want and what is achievable, you might get somewhere.

10. I'm FOR religious nuts staying the fuck out of my private medical decisions
But, apparently, it was more important to appease them than to uphold my basic rights.

11. Then figure out legislation to allow you to have that
and that will pass the Congress.

Otherwise you're nothing more than a two year old holding your breath and stomping your feet.

Grow Up.
