Carrie Prejean wasn't the only member of her family who got a peek at Carrie's solo sex tape -- TMZ has learned her MOM was in the room when the Miss California USA lawyers pressed play.

Sources tell TMZ Carrie's mom was in shock -- instantly turning sheet white as she watched her daughter give herself a hand.

As TMZ first reported, it took all of 15 seconds for Carrie to drop her $1 million demand from the Pageant people after the XXX tape was played.

Carrie Prejean got a question at a beauty pageant that was a no-win. Either answer she gave would have offended some segment of the audience. So in that sense, it was unfair. I don't think any of the other contestants were given such a "Gotcha!" question.

Other than that, though, I'm as into the schadenfreude as the next person. Her self-serving actions since that event are reason enough to label her a rank hypocrite of the worst kind. Especially since she broke pageant rules before, during and after her entry into the contest.

Wasn't this basically blackmail? As in "You'd better drop your suit. You wouldn't want this getting out, would you?" It doesn't really have anything to do with the case, does it?

And again, I have no sympathy for Carrie Whatserfoot, but I'm not sure a sex video should be a defense lawyers ace-in-the-hole. I'm sure there's women on our side of the fence who might've taped themselves splittin' the kitten, and I wouldn't want to see them put in a similar position.

The tape actually began making the rounds several months ago and was offered as an exclusive to various websites for the bargain-basement price of $10,000.

But even blogger Nik Richie of the porn-purveying TheDirty.com didn't want anything to do with it.

"It was very graphic," Richie tells E! News, "and our lawyers wouldn't let us put it on the site."

No other site picked up the raunchfest, apparently shot by an ex-boyfriend and which Richie describes as far more explicit than the topless photos of Prejean that surfaced earlier.
