FReepers calling for a National Strike
Not by unions, mind, you, but by AMERICANS

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2381547/posts

Isn't it great how when proposing civil disobedience for their causes, they're Patriots, but when others do it they're dirty commies?

1. Sounds like a bad idea - most of the freeper-types I know are pretty expendable
Staying home would just show the boss how expendable they are. (Wait - did I say "bad idea"? Let me take that back...)

4. Pot, meet kettle
This is truly a great example of rank hypocrisy:

"Okay, we are all disgusted, dispirited, angry, and not sure of what to do next. Evidently, the Tyrants in the democrat party do not care if we have Tea Party's, they mock us. They don't care if they lose some elections, they mock us. They persecute our leaders and they mock us."

The huge protests against the war were ignored and the right has acted as if the elections of 2006 and 2008 never happened. They win 2 governorships in an off year and think we should jump back to far right policies to appease them.

for example...hospital workers.

Little Junior Freeper falls out of a tree and Mom and Dad Freeper bring him to the hospital where "real Americans" are on strike.

Oops.

They so stupid.

All the freepers strike and are promptly fired by the non-union workplaces. We scoop up all those jobs and unionize them while the freepers are busy hanging out in their parents basement.

Edited on Mon Nov-09-09 12:47 AM by John Q. Citizen
We had a noon time protest in front of Baucus' Missoula office last spring/ 200 people showed up and demanded single payer.

There were about 3 teabaggers decrying socialized medicine.

If they can mount a national strike I'd like to see it. They can't even win a seat the Repos have held for over a century.

To: Wpin
I think we should have a campaign..NATIONAL.. of no retail spending for 2 days. Fast Food, dept stores the whole nine yards.
Would be significant because if this thing stands it is going to kill the economy.

42. Ideological masturbation on their part.
If a few of them call in sick for one day and spend it on an angry bender killing a cheap bottle and yelling at the teevee, that'll be the extent of it. In the end they want to buy lots more crap at Wal-Mart, and by God they will. That, and pig out at some family steakhouse afterwards.
