I don't understand my older gay sister

I'm gay also..So last night at our brothers house (also gay), he had the tv turned to a music channel. I said, oo I need to check something out (CSPAN) to check out the vote. Soon as I saw Cantor on I turned back to the other channel.

This is the mean part, she said "Let me have the remote. I want to change it to a channel you won't like." I thought for a bit and said "Oh, it won't be the same channel." My brother has Dish and she has Direct. Then I said, "Oh, you want to change it to Fox?" She said "Yeah, that's the only channel that tells the truth." I said "You're kidding. Right Fox "News" channel." I did the quotes in the air.

End of story.

I don't get my sister. She doesn't even keep up on any news, yet if she were to listen or read anything it's going to be from Fox. They preach against gay's all the fucking time.

4. she's only five years older

and she has said that because she grew up in a different time and she's likes the things from the past. And she's supports the military. This is something she got from her partner. The partner had a friend die in Vietnam and so that makes her a big supporter some how. This is leaving out the part the the hippies stop this damn war. Whatever. She surely hates them.

I will be retiring next year and was hoping to do more stuff with my sister, now I don't think I would even want to hang out with her. I know this types of conversations would come up more often.

I have three children, all are gay. I've found that it's really not that unusual to have more than one GLBT in a family.

i had the most violent brawl in my life with her over tv channel...neither of us would give in

hint: telling her 'what she should think' will only make her dig in
