Throw this Bill out....all 1,900 pages.... expand Medicare...
1,900 pages of weasel words, escape clauses and loopholes.. written by the insurance lobbyists.

Wouldn't it be easier (and better) to just expand and rework Medicare to include everyone?

4. Got 219 House And 60 Senate Votes For That?
So millions without care should continue to go without until, if ever, such a plan can pass? I'm all for expanding medicare...even in working toward single payer, but that means electing more Progressives to both the House & Senate.

10. If we could replace Spineless Harry with the ghost of LBJ for a few days
He could cut all this bullshit out in reconciliation and put in a REAL bill.

But don't expect it to happen with these cowards. :evilfrown:

12. If the senate passes a bill and both get reconciled by the conf. committee
Then it could very well end up being Medicare Part E for all intents and purposes.

There is still a long way to go, though, before we see the final draft. And I do hope we do get to see that.
