My Rep, PA Blue Dog Holden, voted against the health insurance bill.
I am going to join some area progressive groups and try to get him out of Congress.

CNN listed all Dems who voted against the bill, and Holden is on the list.

1. So did Altmire.
And he had the audacity to send me an e-mail asking for money AFTER he voted no.

Bye-bye Jason.

4. Be sure to respond and let him know you'll be supporting his opponent.
And doing everything within your power to remove him from his seat. Tell him that's what he gets for siding with big business in America, and sacrificing his constituents.

5. Yes, I'm sure a Republican would vote much, much better.

2. cause, you know ...
you are going to be A LOT happier if an R has the job ...

I have a first term R, and I live in a VERY safe R district.

My R is a complete R rubber stamp, and spews the R crape.

I would KILL for a D who was not an R stamp, who voted against this bill in the context that the bill passed the house ...

Look, what people just are NOT getting is that there are more Ds in R districts than people know here, and to do other things we need these seats, too. It worked out, the leadership in the house got enough votes to pass it while letting some Ds in horrible districts be able to take cover on it ...

If you have a REALLY good D who you think is better, fine. Go for it. But, you might want to think about running an incumbant out to have the seat open to having an R take it ...
