1. Ugh
I have mixed feelings about tonight. Thrilled that a bill will be passing tonight, disheartened that enough "Dems" feel the need to attach an anti-woman amendment to that bill.

3. This was a compromise
in order to get enough votes to pass the bill.

It was this or nothing.

2. Okay, this sucks. Time to make a large donation to Planned Parenthood.
And lets hope the health care bill passes, and this shit is thrown out in conference.

5. At my work we always gave to United Way and could choose which org to give money to.
I always gave 100% to Planned Parenthood. We will all need to start a huge campaign to subsidize them from now on!!!

6. It was just a re-statement of present law.
It does not change anything.

8. That is Just Not True!
If it added nothing to the Hyde Amendment, why was it necessary?

This amendment breathes new life into the fringe that shoots doctors. It was despicable and embarrassing.
