That's right, our friends at crooksandliars.com has the skinny.
Rep. John Shadegg uses baby Maddie, a 7-month-old daughter of his Chief of Staff to the floor as a prop during the health-care debate in the House earlier today.
Yes, John Shadegg actually used an innocent infant as a prop, spoke baby talk, and provided us with nothing more than what was most likely in Maddy's diaper at the time.
And for this, he got applause.
Henry Waxman made a joke and said: “That was a remarkable child,” “and a great ventriloquist.”
AND GUESS WHAT? John Shadegg does have a somewhat checkered past, if you remember...
Could this be a small clue as to why Arizona's John Shadegg might be getting out of politics?
It's a page (102) from John L. Jackley's book Below The Beltway.
Ostensibly it's just another anti-Clinton/anti-Democratic Party hit piece published by far right vanity press Regnery.
The brief part about Shadegg, however, is deadly-- and not to Clinton or any Democrats.
It details the adultery, sex, and violence scandal that Shadegg-- and even more so an enraged Mrs. Shadegg-- do not want to come to light and is exactly why he retired and won't be running for re-election to Congress, nor for poor old McCain's Senate seat...
A fist fight-- with Christensen's wife, naked, in the room!
You can't make this shit up.
I hope they gave that poor baby a bath immediately afterward.
