A Health Care Vote Question
When our bill passes the house, does it then go to the Senate?

1. Not Quite, Ma'am
The Senate has its own version, differing in many details from the House bill. When the Senate passes its version, both bills go into a Conference Committee composed of members of both chambers. There they will be ground into one, a text which will be presented to both the House and Senate for a vote. That is what will go to the President for signing into law.

In high school I had the choice between taking Civics or Sociology. Obviously, I chose the latter. :hi:
