Please, please let me keep the freedom to be denied health coverage
because of pre-existing conditions or face recision if I'm lucky enough to get coverage and then actually make a claim.

Give me liberty so I can just die.

2. Yes, I want the freedom to fear illness, not for the suffering
but because of the cost, too. That makes it so much more of a gamble/thrill/extreme lifestyle.

6. Republicans keep repeating that the bill will limit people's ability to go to their own doctor
and it is an attack on their freedom. I never hear specifics on that notion from Republicans. Is there even a shred of evidence of this?

8. Your death will represent...
...an important milestone on the path to a good bill. Surely you can draw consolation from that in your last hours. Someone's got to take one for Team DU.

10. LOL
Fact is I *do* have pre-existing conditions and just about have exhausted COBRA. I am really hoping this passes and I don't die or bankrupt the family before I can get coverage. And given our income, I'm sure we will qualify for a subsidy.

But, if it goes the other way, I'll be sure and let DU know so they can use my life as a political prop in their quest to get a perfect bill right out of the gate.
