How did the house bill suddenly jump to over 1 trillion?

Most notably IMO is the removal of the Kucinich amendment

They are "rounding up" to a trillion so it sounds worse. That's all. It's still a $900 billion dollar bill.

Even a first-year college kid could tell that $900 billion was a joke and that $2 trillion over ten years was far more realistic.

Sure, don't expand Medicare and cover everyone, just go out and make everyone buy insurance under threats of fine or jail. THERE'S change we can believe in. :eyes:
