Question for CSPAN Congress junkies...
The House has rules, right?

Are there ANY consequence EVER for continuously breaking them in an obnoxious manner?

I am going CRAZY watching this!

Sometimes I wish it was like Hong Kong or somewhere where the members get into big fistfights... jeez!

3. I disagree.
I think the Repukes CHOSE to stop and were encouraged to do so by Dingell's carrot and stick approach.

My question is: Is there REALLY a stick? Has it ever been used?

4. I don't know.

They have their own rules which are some mutant form of Robert's rules. The Senate does too.

The first thing anybody needs to do when elected would be to learn the nooks and crannies of the rules.

I'm sure there is some way for the chair to rhetorically beat the hell out of them.

5. Obnoxious Is Like Stupidity...You Can't Rule Against It
Only shut it down and move on.

It wasn't long ago when the Democrats were in the minority and weren't even given microphones to speak in...Let 'em rant...they're irrelevant.

So you'd like fist fights? And that would prove what?

6. Try to kick back and enjoy the civics lesson
It can get galling. But then Bachmann said that the bill will "kill the economic economy". Comic relief jumps out to add some fun.

I'm enjoying the Repuke hyperbole and also Rep. Dingell's immense patience as the chair. It's so nice to have the majority. They never treated our side with such respect.
