The majority voting on the rights of the minority

I made this graphic a while back to help me understand it when the public did really stupid or hateful things. It helps me understand the motivations of people like the tea-baggers and birthers, etc. It also helps me understand why it is such a bad idea to let people vote on the rights that other people should have.

Maybe it will help you as well.





And no I'm not some liberal elitist. I am a beer and pizza guy all the way. In fact, I love a good pesto pizza with crimini mushrooms and kalamata olives and sun-dried tomatoes with a couple of pints of a good Belgian wit or American wheat with a slice of orange. So there.
