85% of premiums are spent on actual health care. To me this means that only 15% can be used for administrative costs and profits. This will force them to pay more claims. So why is this better than the 3% that it costs Medicare for administrative costs? I don't know. I wish we could pass a law stating that insurance can't offer basic health care coverage...period... just like France does.
