BOLD declaration in a Dark Red Southern Bastion.

Testify, Brother!
This courageous LIBERAL is not afraid to fly HIS colors in a very RED part of Arkansas.
Hwy 71 is an ancient two lane highway, and it is the ONLY road that crosses our very rural county in Western Arkansas (Ouachita Mountains).

Kudos to this patriot!
:patriot:

1. I've been to your part of Arkansas many times.
The scenery there is breathtaking. In Fall, the colors of the leaves on the trees are incredible.

No place else like it.

20. Colorado's on the edge too. Not so solidly blue.
Wish it wasn't so. Would love to live in a very, very blue state.

3. Liberals like him deserve our support and admiration.
It can't be easy living in a deep red area with those kinds of opinions and values.

7. It is getting a little easier.
The youth are much more open minded than their parents.

AND, more and more "organic" (Liberal) people are moving into this area looking for inexpensive property, pristine environment, and plenty of clean water to start small organic farms and homesteads.

Thats why my wife & I moved here from Minneapolis.

It's hard being a dem in a red state I had a Obama sticker on my bumper they tried to run me off the road;I had a sign in my front yard,My neighbors haven't spoke to me since Obama won. That's O.k. I just covered my riding lawnmower in stickers and every time I cut grass I laugh about it. Tenn

5. did he dot the i in "LiE" or did some passing motorist help him with that?
My guess is a few more helpful passing motorists will dot a few of the other letters on that sign in the coming days.

Razorbacks are so helpful.

9. I had the same thought, but....
...this sign has been up since the day after Joe Wilson shouted "You Lie" during Obama's speech.
The "Republican Health Plan" part was added about a week later.
This type of sign is very rare in this area, but THIS one seems to be doing fine.

10. Thank goodness there aren't any lurking freepers here who you've now alerted to this sign.
Actually, I'm not worried about Free Republic readers actually shooting that sign as they drive by. I'm worried that they'll shoot their car windows out when they drive by and try to shoot the sign.

6. I used to drive through that beautiful part of the country all of the time,
when I was an OTR truck driver. Loved the scenery, but would rather have driven it in a car.
