An uncle of a Racine nurse who was stationed at Fort Hood said today that his nephew was among the 13 people killed in Thursday's shooting.

Russell Seager was nurse practitioner in the primary care area at the VA Medical Center and a teacher at Bryant & Stratton College both in Milwaukee.

A Wisconsin mother said her 29-year-old daughter is among the soldiers killed in the Fort Hood, Texas shootings.

Jeri Krueger of Kiel told the Herald Times Reporter of Manitowoc that she was informed early Friday of daughter Amy Krueger's death.

Jeri Krueger said her daughter was an Army sergeant with the Madison-based 467th Medical Detachment and had arrived at Fort Hood on Tuesday. She was scheduled to be sent to Afghanistan in December.

But the helpless terror of waiting is over and now just the endless dealing with it. But there's a measure of control in that. My heart to all of them. It sucks.
