Reminds me of 2 of the hardest tacklers in soccer, Romeo Bennetti and Claudio Gentile, the former nicknamed the "Butcher of Turin" and the latter never ever red-carded in his career in spite of wicked tackles. But this lady sure can dish it. No one's ever gonna try to pull her shorts off again.

Really. The assistant referee's were in a position to see everything the head ref could not see. That they allows this to happen is a disgrace. The USA is a very young soccer nation, and it's pool of referees at all levels is bad to say the least, In fact, one could say that the learning curve of the players is accelerating, while the ref pool is still comprised of rank amatuers--ask any soccer junkie or knowledgeable fan of MLS. But you would still expect better at the college level. Fortunately the country is big and there is a whole new generation of soccer junkie kids that didn't exist even 15 years ago. Some will get advanced ref licenses and will greatly improve the ranks of the referee pool.
