2. I think it's appropriate that they balanced the five beady-eyed, sweaty-upper-lipped
reviewers with one tongue in cheek.

5. So...........just so I understand.
They are attacking the liberals, the people that worked hard so they could practice their religion as they saw fit??

Are they pissed because they can practice their religion?? Forced to practice religion?? Not sure which god to worship??

6. My guess is that what they don't like is liberals making it difficult for them ...
... to insure their religious franchise has an exclusive hold on the public

7. He is using fear and false cries of persecution to sell his POV
He is one of the Religious Right who cries about America being too secular and that he is being oppressed, yet fails to understand that they are in the majority. Or does understand it and is using others' ignorance as a battering ram (and a paycheck).

All of that said, I find it hilariously appropriate that the right - the same people who think Glenn Beck is sincere, Limbaugh is a regular joe, Bush was qualified and heroic, and Coulter is hot - can't grasp that Colbert is not one of them. At all. I mean, it fits perfectly in a way that makes me sad for America.

No wonder they've been systematically trying to discredit and destroy public education and higher learning: it's easier to sell their drivel to people who don't know better.

8. Love the quote: But honestly, RWers ought to trademark the soft, plump, pink-faced visage
which seems represent so much of the conservative landscape. Jerome Corsi? Karl Rove? Roger Ailes? Soft. Plump. Pink.

10. Wow! After 4 years, they still haven't figured Colbert out! hahahaha
I still remember the freepers' glee when his show started, as they chortled that now THEY had their very own conservative comic, with one lone freeper interjecting, "Uh, guys? I think he's making fun of us." Then the idiots invited him to do his conservative humor at the D.C. press banquet, where he skewered them all. Then, Delay featured one of Colbert's pieces on Delay on his website, which quietly disappeared after the liberal world burst into laughter.

And now this. They really, really DO suffer from irony deficiency.
