2. I was just in Holland. They pay 100 Euros a month for EVERYTHING.
Universal care. Universal enrollment. They also can get supplementary care from a private insurer if they want extra coverage.

Their opinion? They LOVE their healthcare system and they think America is nuts. And they laughed heartily when I told them that Holland is held up as an example of a country with "death panels."

"Oh yeah!" they roared. "Here in Holland, we go around killing everyone. What, is your country insane?!!"

As far as I'm concerned, there's a name for each member of Congress who obstructs reform at the behest of their insurance industry benefactors: mass murderer. No difference between them and other killers for hire. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
