November in Afghanistan is shaping up to be a really bad month.

We are already at nine American deaths this month and it's only the sixth of November.

If you look at previous Novembers in this occupation,

2001 --> 4 American soldiers died
2002 --> 8 American soldiers died
2003 --> 1 American soldier died
2004 --> 4 American soldiers died
2005 --> 4 American soldiers died
2006 --> 9 American soldiers died
2007 --> 22 American soldiers died
2008 --> 12 American soldiers died
2009 --> 9 American soldiers died

To date in 2009, 463 American soldiers have died in the continued occupation. Things are not going well.
