There is no such thing as "Muslim descent" anymore than there is something called Christian descent. Have you ever heard the media describe anyone as "an American citizen of Christian descent"? No, because there is no such thing. Holt's description was not used within the context of a possible motive. But it did place all Muslims under one umbrella, as if there is some race of Muslims out there. It was an ignorant statement.
