Col. Jack Jacobs and Swillie Geist think that it is weird that someone studying to be a psychiatrist
would do course work in gross anatomy. It just doesn't add up, I tell you. Between Jacobs and McCaffrey I take it that the military is anxious to hang this shooting on a terrorist plot rather than the actions of a single man with grievances.

1. What Jacobs said
was that psychiatrists, including this one, take gross anatomy early in their medical training. He said that the gunman could not have PTSD related to war experience, because he had not been in combat. He implied that if a person could get through gross anatomy class, they were immune from PTSD. He was, of course, absolutely incorrect on that.

Jacobs also stated as fact his opinion that there could not have been any incidents of harassment aimed at an Islamic person in the military. That would seem to have been all Geist needed for confirmation, though I suspect others might question Jacob's ability to determine this.

Geist stated over and over that parts of the story being reported "don't add up." Also worth noting was Geist's repeated references that connected the shooting with 9/11.

Geist had earlier stated that Lee Harvey Oswald denied being a Marxist. He demonstrates the level of purposeful inaccuracies that make the corporate media untrustworthy.

2. What I took from this exchange was
Edited on Fri Nov-06-09 06:31 AM by Skidmore
that this man couldn't have really acted alone. Last night Chris Matthews had on that creepy CIA type, Evan Thomas?, and he was banging strongly on the cell terrorist plot drum as was Cliff Van Zandt. These people have a vested interest in chaos and violence in the world and are prone to ascribe everything to greater conspiratorial forces and gin up fear and distrust. Sometimes I wonder if we wouldn't have less violence in the world if these government groups were put out of business. It's bad enough that we have violence of the garden domestic variety let alone professional provacateurs to keep international violence ginned up.

8. Right.
This tragic event is terrible enough on its own. And the truth is that there was not -- in fact, cannot -- be but one factor ..... for we all are a combination of many factors. Yet, we will see the media "shaping" the public perception, with emphasis on one factor. The truth will not be revealed or reported by the media.

9. Having worked as a Psychologist for DOD, I'm having a difficult time BELIEVING
that a Psychiatrist, a medically trained doctor would ACT to perform mass murder.

Consider me having my tin foil hat firmly affixed. Even with all the harassment and emotional trauma, I DON'T BELIEVE that a psychiatrist would do this horrific act. No, I don't believe it! I want some HARD evidence, like eye witnesses - believable eye witnesses.

Was he set up because he was a Muslim and a loner? Black Ops anyone? :tinfoilhat:

12. And yet, consider Radovan Karadzic
currently being hosted at the Hague. He popped up on a news ticker just yesterday because the Court 'imposed a lawyer' on him and postponed his trial for several months.

There's usually an exception to anyone's standard rule.

3. I agree...my son, his friends, my brother, soldiers all and an ex soldier
are all telling me its a terrorist plot, and they arent even teabaggers. They voted for Obama..but to admit, even for a second, that it might just be a man who snapped due to horrors of war , for some reason, seems to bother them. wtf . is there some kind of macho bravada being touted in all this?? can they just admit that war is making young men and women lose their minds??

5. No
Because it would mean admitting, on one level, that the anti-military activists are right and they were wrong for enlisting. At least, that seems to be the thought process.

7. some of them enlisted for jobs
the others for ...jobs. it seems. before Bush. but yes, there is a mindfuck in the military that sends them the messages that somehow any action is justified. my son is in the guard and he joined before Bush when the guard was always stateside.
not anymore.

10. N0, it's just ramping up. Two weeks from now when President Obama announces that
he's going to give that ghoul, General McCrystal EVERYTHING he wants, nobody DARE complain
Now they just announced he yelled, "ala Acbar" <sp?> DAMMIT! The guy was born in the USA and is a USA Military Officer.

The hate-crimes against Muslims will ramp up and I'm having a very difficult time believing that this man ACTUALLY committed this act.

NOW, General McCrystal and the Contracting "Masters of War" will get all of the money and troops they need. Who benefits from this act? That's what we need to be asking ourselves. I'm disgusted. :(
