I played this at work and the entire office was laughing hysterically. My office has a politically diverse group of people ranging from far right to far left, but everyone gets along well. The entire staff knows who Beck is, and even the furthest of the Righties thought it was incredible funny. This is kinda like Fey doing Palin in that I think this was so funny that people who actually take Beck seriously might think a little less of him after this. I mean, Stewart is truly masterful here. Comical, yet while exaggerating for the sake of humor, really does show how ridiculous Glenn Beck is.

And yeah, the exaggeration was what made it comedy. It wasn't mean spirited, but yet so well done that it really emphasizes what a goof ball Beck is. I think after you watch that it is just a bit harder to take him seriously. No one here does anyway, but for those that do I suspect they won't quite look at him the same way.

Sometimes ridicule through comedy is much more effective than actually trying to point out through speech and debate why someone is an utter idiot.

Stewart has him pegged. It was one of his best bits, and had us howling out loud.
Beck is a second rate actor presenting himself as a voice of the common man. That his audience believes his bullshit is cause for concern. Some guys just need a good kick in the gonads.
