someone is spending great amounts of money to keep us from any kind of reform

4. They are not to change our opinion on legislation.
They are to accustom us to the inevitable reality of no real reform. Get us used to it.

It's already decided I am afraid. The rest is probable window dressing.

5. I don't think that this is to affect the actual legislation...
but to turn people against the congresspeople who do vote for it and to harm them in the next elections.

Here in Ct. they are targeting Holy Joe. They want US to tell HIM not to support it!!! LOLOL! Like telling a Dem. State to back this traiter will do anything more than piss us off more than we already are at this joke they call a Senator!

14. Hey, I caught the ads tonight!
The local one...re Lieberman was sponsored by "coalition to protect patients rights". There was another, more "generic" one sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. Hope this helps you. It seems the "Coalition" has a website.

13. The more I hear, the more I feel the Conservatives are winning ... AGAIN!
The health bill does seem to be going down in flames.
They just can't get enough votes.
So it will be watered down until it resembles the stupid GOP bill.

And there you go. The Republicans win ... again.
