Huffington Post says Shooter Still Alive!

I can't do anything more sohpisticate than copy and paste, but the jist is they have a headline saying the Ft. Hood shooter is alive and in stable condition.

I'm glad. I want to know what happened.

3. I flipped channels to watch the news conference on Maddow's show.

Apparently he is alive and stable after multiple gunshots. He is expected to live. He is not talking at present, either stonewalling or on a vent.

Other than that, all we have are questions.

or something close. No rapid risk of death unless an infection or something similar.

5. NBC News calling the shooter a "Traitor".

Although I wouldn't nominate the shooter for the Nobel Peace Prize.. how can NBC News call him (at this stage) a "Traitor"? What medical or legal evidence is this opinion based on?

Could this man be mentally un-stable? Maybe. Mentally Ill? Maybe. Suffering from PTSD? Maybe. under the influence of Alcohol? Possible.. but what medical degrees do the NBC talking heads possess that they can make a snap judgement as to to the motives and condition of this man?

They couldn't even get the facts correct ...that he was alive and had not been killed on the scene?
