Did anyuone else see the "light cloud" the other night? I saw it and just heard the explanation
On a local talk show about science today, they mentioned an experiment by NASA the other night that created a brief cloud of light as an experiment to anlyze some atmospheric condition. They said it was in the southern sky and could be seen all along the east coast in the southern sky.

It was wierd because I happen to have seen it out my front window, which faces south. At first I thoguht is was a very low airplane, but it didn't really look like that.

They mentioned that there were a lot of people who reported a UFO that night. I must admit, that thought did briefly cross my mind when I saw it because it looked so strange.

Anyone else see it?

8. So, how do you think the solar system was formed?

I'd love to hear the non NASA reliance after-the-fact explanation of that one.

It's a pretty safe bet that NASA knows what experiments they were conducting. In fact, these are frequently announced ahead of time so that people don't get weirded out by the glow.

But, yeah, the last people to trust on the subject of space science are space scientists.

4. I've seen those a clouds couple of times in Florida...
that was the explanation and if I remember correctly the fact that there would be a atmospheric test and a cloud would be visible was announced before the test.
