Protest sign in a hurry
Edited on Thu Nov-05-09 08:46 PM by madamesilverspurs
We had short notice about a teabag protest at our rep's office. Not having any posterboard on hand I grabbed a standard file folder; gives it some stability, anyway. I'm thinking I'll do more using the folders, they're easy to put together, easy to carry, easy to transport. And chances are that the teabaggers aren't going to stop their shenanigans; I can keep a bunch of these in one of my shopping bags, ready to go.

Note: The little guy in the picture is my nephew. My brother, his daddy, had to go back into the military in order to have any coverage for his son. That was 25 years ago, and my nephew is today doing well in spite of what was denied him. This particular poster was inspired by recent news stories about Americans having to go into military service in order to get medical coverage for their families.

1. And our lawmakers are going to set it up
so that the kid is never insured but has to pay a fine for it every year anyway.

4. Not when criminals are dismantling my country as fast as they can, no.
Back in the '90s it was half-full half of the time.

Before Reagan it was damn near full quite often.
