Good grief....how does Wolf Blitzer even have a job?
Edited on Thu Nov-05-09 07:58 PM by Jackeens
Did you see him earlier?

He got wildly excited when a reporter told him that, according to this website ...

http://cstsonline.org/members/cstsmember-69_Hasan

... Nidal Hasan supposedly attended the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland.

Wolf told us several times that he's lived in Bethesda for many years and he'd never heard of the School - he said, twice, that CNN would check it out to see if it existed.

I'm guessing that he suspected Nidal Hasan had made up his qualifications and invented the School (which would, of course, raise HUGE questions about those who employed him) - by now I sensed Wolf saw himself as Woodward & Bernstein rolled in to one.

Soon after ... Wolf's companion in the studio showed him the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Bethesda on Google Maps. It's the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences - http://www.usuhs.mil/medschool/fehsom.html. So, yes, it exists.

Wolf reminded us one more time that he's lived in Bethesda for almost forever and repeated that he'd never heard of the School - maybe he believes it was built after he left for work this morning? Or that Google Maps is involved in a conspiracy?

Top class reporting Wolf ... (next time don't get so excited, do a little fact-checking before you spout).

But then, he's not the smartest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVC28oemocA

10. Pssst Wolf, the military runs a NAC on every officer candidate, even
Medical Corps. If Hasan padded his resume, he wouldn't have been commissioned. But then most of the flapping mouths that pass themselves off as 'journalists' don't know jack shit about the military.

7. Wolf got "wildly excited"?
I would have liked to witness that, to see if it came close to matching his wild excitement when he brought us his live report of the bombs blasts during Chimpy's shock and awe campaign in Iraq.

12. Rather telling, isn't it?
Despite the "research staff" that all the big media names have, once they get on the air, they can say whatever they damn well feel like.

TV journalistic ethics died with Walter Cronkite's last newscast.

Read Senator Franken's "Rush Limbaugh Is A Big Fat Idiot" for the story of where and when Al Franken completely invented the "Leslie Blitzer" name as a joke, in front of Wolf himself.

19. Wolf Should Go Beck To Pat Robertson.. or the Jerusalem Times...
or AIPAC... whereverhe ges the most $$$$

Blitzer began his career in journalism in the early 1970s in the Tel Aviv bureau of the Reuters news agency. In 1973 he caught the eye of Jerusalem Post editor Ari Rath, who hired Blitzer as a Washington correspondent for the English language Israeli newspaper. Blitzer would remain with the Post until 1990, covering both American politics and developments in the Middle East.<6>

Sometime in the mid-1970s, Blitzer also worked for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee as the editor of their monthly in house publication, the Near East Report.<8><9> While at AIPAC, Blitzer's journalism focused on Middle East affairs as it relates to United States foreign policy.

Wolf Blitzer’s Secret

Still, one does get the impression that Wolf Blitzer just feeds Pat Robertson lines like this from the October 9, 2005 broadcast of CNN Late Edition With Wolf Blitzer:

BLITZER: ... thanks very much for joining us.

I want to get to Harriet Miers in a moment but you're a minister. You see what's going on in the world today in Pakistan, in India, Afghanistan, an earthquake, maybe 20,000 people dead, maybe twice that number; we don't have a count. Hurricanes in the United States and around the world, a tsunami a little bit less than a year or so ago in Southeast Asia. What's happening?

ROBERTSON: Wolf, I might say you're very perceptive to pick up the key in this.

20. Wolf spoiled a good song for us - Against the Wind
by Bob Seeger.

It was a few years ago when he was breathfully ejaculating on camera over the push and support for the war in Iraq - eyes a bugged out and his sickening headhole spewing words of how glorious war and america are and how not those who are not. He had a small cameo of himself produced that had the Seeger song in the background, and there is Blitzer in panoramic view of blue skies, camera angle shot from below to look up to the God of Journ in all his glory mightiness of sharp pen and wit. Him in khakis too as I recall, looking up to the sky and pondering all the importances of his exemplary journalism in narcisstic technicolor.

Yes, Wolfie, you were so against the mainstream in your cookie cutter reporting that your corporate masters place on your desk to read.

I will not forgive you for spoiling that song for me - whenever we hear it from then on to now, we think of Wolf Blitzer and either laugh our asses off or moan, depending on our moods.

31. Reminds me of a Sat. Night Live skit during one of the past recessions
The idea was "the wrong people are unemployed." Then listed a bunch of people, celebrities and politicians of the times, saying they should be the ones who are unemployed.

Today's version would be: Wolf Blitzer! Why is he employed? Lou Dobbs! Get him off the payrolls! Rush Limpballs! Why isn't he unemployed? Ann Coulter - put her in the unemployment line!
