It was bad enough to hear of Cavuto on Fox speculating about this shooter's Arabic name and what his motives might have been.

It was bad enough to read on DU of the nitwits at FR ranting aboaut "muslims" and swaggering around their keyboards.

It was worse to turn on MSNBC and hear Ed Schultz and Chris Mathews embarrassing themselves with just totally off-the-wall and unsupported fearmongering speculation.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AT FORT HOOD! (I interrupt this to state that---Jesus H. Christ!---now Mathews is crediting Fox for some of his information!)

From the few FACTS reported, it would be reasonable to wonder if this psychiatrist who treated PTSD cases and other mental illness in troops going to and returning from war zones might have "snapped" himself after he himself was scheduled to go to a war zone. But, I'm not aware of ANY evidence to even SUGGEST that this poor bastard was involved with Al Qaeda, had "plotted" anything with anyone, or even that he was "muslim". Of course, if he'd been a Baptist, that would not have been incriminating, but just accusing him of being a muslim, without any proof, "seals the deal" for those who were already assuming he was a terrorist because of his name.

There is just no excuse for this BS on my TV. I'm turning it off!
